When you arrive on the day for your surf lesson, you will sign it and head out for your awesome surfing experience. We know it can scare you but don't let it put you off. All surf schools and adventure companies have indemnities you have to read through. It's standard protocol basically. After your first lesson you will definitely want to come back for more!
